From 2010 to 2024, this space captured the heart of my art classroom—student projects, ideas that grew into something bigger than planned, and the everyday moments that remind me why teaching matters. The work shared here reflects the voices of the students I taught, the lessons we built together, and the joy of watching young artists discover their own style. I’m grateful for everyone who followed along, contributed, and believed in the value of art education.

Over those years, I had the privilege of teaching students from kindergarten through high school—each age bringing its own kind of curiosity, humor, and creative spark. Whether it was the bold experimentation of the youngest artists or the more intentional, expressive work of older students, every class added something unique to this journey. Their growth, resilience, and imagination shaped me as much as any lesson I taught.
Over those years, I had the privilege of teaching students from kindergarten through high school—each age bringing its own kind of curiosity, humor, and creative spark. Whether it was the bold experimentation of the youngest artists or the more intentional, expressive work of older students, every class added something unique to this journey. Their growth, resilience, and imagination shaped me as much as any lesson I taught.
I also had the opportunity to mentor future educators. I supervised student teachers from the Museum School/Tufts University, Harvard, Massachusetts College of Art and Design as part of their licensure programs, including partnerships that involved and Community based organizations. Helping emerging art teachers understand real classroom dynamics, refine their practice, and develop confidence in their own teaching voice became one of the most meaningful extensions of my career.
